We build mobile saunas from local wood and with a lot of passion. The saunas are located on beautiful waterfront locations and can be rented online by the hour. Enjoy your very own private Finnish sauna experience and relax in the cozy warmth. Alone, with friends or with your loved ones - just as you like it.

How it works
Our mobile saunas are located in beautiful spots right by the water and can be booked for a fixed period of time. The sauna is then all yours, nobody will be on site. You light the fire yourself and leave the sauna in such a way that the next person will be happy.
Book an appointment
Book the sauna of your choice online for one, two or three hours. After booking, we will send you an e-mail with the details of your sauna session.
Pay
The sauna costs a fixed CHF 40.00 per hour, no matter how many persons enjoy the sauna. There is room for 6 to 8 persons. You pay online when booking via Twint, credit card, Postfinance etc. or by bank transfer.
Arrive
You find the directions to the saunas on the website of the respective location.
Enter
On the day of your booked sauna session, you will receive an e-mail with the details for access to the sauna.
Firing up
If the sauna has not been used before you, it will take about 50 to 60 minutes to get the sauna vibe. Check the online-calendar beforehand and allow enough time to heat up the sauna if there is no booking befoure yours. If no one is in the sauna before you, you are welcome to arrive earlier to heat up the sauna.
Sauna
Bring two towels - one for sitting or lying down, one for drying off after your dip in the water.
Cooling down
Our saunas are all located directly next to open water, where experienced swimmers can cool off.

Who we are
Behind the Saunaare are five sauna enthusiasts who love to enjoy a sauna and a cold dip in the Aare. This passion gave rise to the idea of Saunaare - mobile saunas right at the waterfront, for everyone.
Luca
The idea was born on his sofa and that's where we meet. Luca is our location scout, negotiator and feel-good manager. He loves the Aare more than anything.
Sebastian
Head logistician, trailer driver's license holder, master woodworker and infusion professional. Likes to swim from Elfenau to Schönausteg in winter, motto: from 8 to 80 (degrees) in 8 minutes.
Schorsch
Schorsch is our creative master builder and workshop manager. He has a solution for every problem and no detail escapes his attention.
Guy
Guy looks after the finances, clarifies legal issues and is our call center. As a passionate runner, he relaxes in the sauna.
Kilian
Webmaster, customer service and passionate sauna-goer and swimmer in the cold Aare. He feels comfortable from a water temperature of 6°C downwards.
